HERD ~ Western Art Horse Painting by Laurie Justus Pace 18 x 24 inches Oil on Gallery Wrap Canvas Contemporary Art for the Home. Contact me for pricing. Laurie Pace PACKING UP THE DREAMS GOD'S PLANTED..... Friday is near dawning, I am blogging and then I am packing. I finished the painting above yesterday morning. Yesterday was also my last day here with my students in Justin Texas. I have watched so many of these youngsters grow up. Aly has been with me since Kindergarten and she is in Junior High School now. She is a superior artist that has incredible depth of talent and it has been a gift to me to be a part of her life. Another promising student is Sophia. She is an engaging child that has been with me three years. She is talented not just in her art, but also in her piano playing. In art you sit in wonderment as she paints and what you might shudder about, she immediately rolls the painting into an unbelievable finish of technique and color. There is Krysta that can
HEADSTRONG ~ Abstract Contemporary Horse Oil Painting by Laurie Justus Pace 22 x 28 inches Oil on Gallery Wrap Canvas Contact me for pricing or commission work. Laurie Pace Thursday, the days are escaping and I didn't pack one box yesterday. This painting I finished three days ago. I am trying to paint ahead because it will be difficult once we get further into this weekend. I would haul paints to my mom's temporarily and work, but decided I needed to not mess up her house...just paint less and pray more that God will provide. Today will be my last day with the Justin Art Students. I really have not forewarned them because I did not know until our buyer finally made up their mind about so many last minute changes. That was not a comfortable time for us. In art I will allow them to paint a painting for Christmas for their parents in acrylic. I will be digging out canvas already packed! Calmness is the word today I will concentrate on, especially during this season. Though
Golden Red ~ Abstract Horse Oil Painting by Laurie Justus Pace 18 x 36 inches Oil on Gallery Wrap Canvas Contemporary Art for the Home Contact me for prices and commission art work. Laurie Pace A knifed painting with much action for attention and energy in the room! Thick creamy oils applied with the palette knife always brings interesting compositions! Well, we closed on both houses yesterday. BUT we do not move for 10 days. It is the count down. I snapped a few more pictures when we were there on Monday. I hope you enjoy them. THIS is the furniture of the old owner...mine is not there yet....give me the 10 days please! This is the loft in the Master bedroom. Terry told me he wanted to close it in for a cedar closet but I say no because of the light that would be lost coming in the windows in the loft. This is standing in the entry hall looking south into the living room and dining room. The glass doors on the left open up to the enclosed garden room. It is heated and cooled. I w
ESCAPE ~ Abstract Horse Oil Painting by Laurie Justus Pace 18 x 27 inches Acrylic on Gallery Wrap Canvas Contemporary Art for the Home. Contact me for pricing or commission work. This is another piece in acrylic. I really enjoyed this baby as it emerged from the colors on the canvas. I am working half in acrylic and half in oils with the impending move. Wow what a day yesterday. Nothing like making a trip somewhere just to present yourself to get ripped off. My mom used a store called FIRST FLOOR and Carpets and they did a nice job in their home. I had the same folks come give me a bid on the floors for our new house and was totally dismayed and disappointed in their dishonesty. I will be canceling their work this morning. They over estimated the sq footage WAY beyond the overcut area (this is wood floor) and then when we arrived back at their shop to point this out, he refigured and definitely dropped the amt, but not near enough. With the first order he was charging $8.55 a sq
DAWN RUN ~ Horse Oil Painting By Laurie Justus Pace 24 x 30 inches Oil on Canvas Contemporary Art for the Home. CONTACT ME for pricing or commission work. Do you know what is in the back of the closet at your house? Well, I found this treasure when packing up for the new house. Painted in 2005, I pulled this beauty out and touched up the paint and varnished it to sell. I didn't even know it was in there. Go figure. What is in the back of the closet at your house? Okay, I have to stick in my Tail (Tale) wagger today. Morgan was over painting yesterday and I was finishing up some tar gel on a large 30 x 30 inch painting. The painting was in the corner of the studio drying. Morgan and Hillary left with their baby dog, my female grand-dog. My male dog, Paddy, was intensely jealous. We always have to keep them separated and it was difficult with the wet cold weather, Paddy didn't want to be outside or behind a closed door. SO when he was loose finally he tore through the
ROSES in a Bowl ~ Contemporary Flower Painting by Laurie Justus Pace 30 x 30 inches Acrylic on Gallery Wrapped Canvas Contact me for prices! Okay the size is not exact over the fireplace, but it is a big painting! It is 30 x 30 inches. This is a delightful painting, very contemporary. If it doesn't sell it will hang in Frank's House, which is what we are calling the new house. I always like working with the framing of acrylic bands around the edges....and the basic colors scream contemporary. I have slept so well for the past three nights. I know the Lord is speaking to me to be calm because everything we are dealing with is not solid yet. Well, actually nothing is predictable but death and going to be with the Lord, but meanwhile I have a house to pack, paintings to paint and knees to pray on. Is your life in confusion or chaos right now? Often life gets away from us during this time period between Thanksgiving and Christmas. There is triple the activity in our lives, com
Canadian Summer ~ Abstract Horse Oil Painting by Laurie Justus Pace 30 x 40 x 2 inches Oil on Gallery Wrap Canvas SOLD COMMISSION PIECE You might think you are seeing double. I did a similar piece about three weeks ago called Waterside. It was 30 x 30 inches. This collector saw it and wanted a large version for his restaurant in Canada. I finished it last night and took pics before I headed to bed. I have not even sent him the pics yet! It is Saturday after Thanksgiving. I am still praying, painting, posting, packing and preparing. The Five P's you might say. Last night I packed up 2/3rds of the clothes in my closet and I can actually walk into it and find things. I heard from the decorator Gallery owner of the SR Gallery in Hong Kong. They are doing a feature article on my artwork for their winter news magazine....everything there is so clean, neat, uncomplicated and simple. I sent her pics of the new house and begged for suggestions. I must simplify. Here in the United S
JAMBO ~ Abstract Horse Oil Painting by Laurie Justus Pace 30 x 30 inches Oil on Gallery Wrapped Canvas COMMISSION PIECE SOLD Jambo is a Canadian horse. I could tell from the pictures he has an attitude, but it seems to me although he is assertive in his mannerisms, he is loving and kind on the flip side. He is a powerful playful horse and I hope I captured it. His owner is as adventurous as his horse and I think they must be well matched. Had it not been Thanksgiving time and me in a move, I might have flown up to meet this horse before painting him. Yes we ate much yesterday at Stacey's. She and Larry out did themselves and Morgan and Hillary helped in food prep arriving early in the morning. By the time I arrived everything was completed but Larry's roasted vegetables. Stacey made pies pies pies...yum. There were 16 of us there yesterday. Tom brought his contribution of bacon wrapped goodies that disappeared with in minutes of his arrival. In the midst of celebration
ORANGE POPPIES by Laurie Justus Pace SOLD! 30 x 30 inches Gallery Wrapped Canvas Contemporary Art for the Home. Thanksgiving dawns. I will be finishing up some commission horses headed for Smitty's Restaurant in Canada. I did a wonderful image of the owner's Black Beauty yesterday. Haven't taken pictures of it yet, but will try and post it this week. Today I will be working on a 30 x 40 inch for the main part of the restaurant of a happy horse in the sun. Sunny side up you might say! It is cold here this morning. Stacey Beth, my daughter, is handling all the food prep at her house for Thanksgiving. I will paint all morning, then clean up and join the crowd. I think there will be 16 eating at the table. ah, two tables! So today I will be thankful for so much...family, friends, health, home, our community, our church, our country, our leaders, our troops here and away from home and most of all to our Father that has given all this to us. He is truly the reason for th
FIVE TRUE ~ Abstract Horse Oil Painting by Laurie Justus Pace 15 x 30 inches Oil on Gallery Wrap Canvas SOLD on Daily Painters! Thank you! Contemporary Art for the home. Wednesday finds a turkey in the oven. We are eating at Stacey Beth's tomorrow but she has a crowd coming and we would have ZERO leftovers, so I normally fix on Wednesday for Terry and I to have left overs for the next few days! He is coming home and making CHILI too! It is going to be cold shortly . Seventy degrees right now and hopefully falling soon! Tom are you ready to eat tomorrow? Can't wait to hug your neck. Charlene I wish you were here. We would share a glass of wine and many laughs and hugs. Niki I hope you have arrived in NY safely. Give my best to Helen and Joe. Jan, I know you will be neck deep in family, enjoy them all. Kathy, I share my deepest prayers with you today. I know not what your group is doing, but I know you will be serving those around you. Yesterday I began packing up referen
ROAMING TWO ~ Abstract Horse Oil Painting by Laurie Justus Pace 18 x 27 inches Oil on Gallery Wrapped Canvas Contemporary Art for the Home. Contact me for pricing or commission work. Click here. It is Tuesday and I slept in! Niki called at six thirty and I jumped out of bed to get the phone. She is on her way north for Thanksgiving. Morgan just arrived and he will be doing office stuff for me today as I paint and pack. The painting I just posted is a second piece to the one from yesterday. They would work separate or together! We visit our new home to be yesterday, spending about three hours there. I am eager in anticipation. The trees are thick and the pecan tree in the front yard has the paper shell covers to them. They are good. Terry and stood there and feasted on some we gathered from the yard. Much to do! Embrace your day today and know you are a child of God. He is the Father that will care for you. Climb into his love and protection and feel his warmth and light fill you
ROAMING ONE ~ Abstract Horse Oil Painting by Laurie Justus Pace 18 x 27 inches Oil on Gallery Wrap Canvas Contemporary Art for your Home. Click here to contact me on prices or commission work. Laurie Pace Once again I pulled two canvas on each of my easels and painted a second composition of the abstract horses on color fields. The first two I posted on my blog left to live in Marble Falls Texas. They will arrive at their new home on Wednesday. Today I am posting Roaming ONE and tomorrow I will post Roaming Two. They can be owned separately or together if someone wants lively color across the room! Monday dawns and the sun is already peaking over the horizon. I slept in until six thirty. Very unusual. I am blogging, then feeding my dogs, maybe walking the dogs and then painting for a few hours before we head into FEDEX and then Dallas to go measure at the new house. The rest of the day will be filled with Whole Foods and eating of course. Tom mentioned that I always tend to m
PRECIOUS MOMENTS ~ Child and Horse Oil Painting by Laurie Justus Pace 11 x 14 inches Oil on Linen Panel Contact me to purchase. Click here . SOLD today on Daily Painters! Thank you. This was the second trial painting on the new linen board. I plan to do another painting of this picture. It came from a collector and I promised to paint it. This will serve as a prepaint. I just sat and painted. No drawing first. I call that being open to create and not bounded by line. Space is all mine. You can do that with God. Be open to divine guidance...be freely floating in His light and love. I am off to paint this morning with a full morning ahead...and a full afternoon. Shalom, Laurie “Then I said, ‘Here I am; in the scroll of the book it is written of me. I delight to do your will, O my God; your law is within my heart.’”—Psalm 40:7-8
16 Roses Flower Art by Laurie Justus Pace 11 x 14 on Linen Panel SOLD ON DAILY PAINTERS! THANK YOU!! This painting is very similar to the one I painted in celebration of my mom's birthday last summer. I purchased some new linen panels from Ray Mar art and I wanted to try them out. Today's post and tomorrows will be on the panels. I absolutely LOVE them. The paint moves differently .... I think I am going to like it. This would make a delightful gift for someone, email me! Well, I have the movers scheduled...now I need to pack and in between keep painting. Moving a family and a houseful of belongings is one thing, but adding a full art studio, a huge printer and all my stock of canvas, paints etc...well that is a different story. Trying to keep harmony in your life during a move is a challenge. Trying to remember WHAT you have to update and change is a pain. My youngest son fell off a roof yesterday. He was working hanging Christmas lights and went down over 35 feet. He
ORIGINAL THREE ~ Abstract Horse Art by Laurie Justus Pace 18 x 27 inches Oil on Gallery Wrapped Canvas Contemporary Art for the Home Click here to contact me to purchase this painting or talk about commission work. Friday dawns and by noon we will know if we will have new house. We were accepted for our contract offer on the modern house that Stacey found for us, but it is an AS IS price. We have Butch, our super star inspector hitting the place at nine this morning. As long as it is stable we will go ahead with the purchase. Should be moved in by the second weekend in December. This is the front of the house. This is an enclosed patio area with skylights across it. It is heated and cooled. I think they called it a Florida Room! I call it a painting room. The Light is FABULOUS. This is the dining room with a side look into that same Florida room... This is the master bath dressing area...with circular stairs up to another painting area...a loft that over looks that same Florida
MEDITERRANEAN MORNING ~ Landscape by Laurie Justus Pace 6 x 24 inches Oil on Gallery Wrap Canvas Contemporary Art for the Home Contact me for commissions or pricing. Click here. SOLD ON DAILY PAINTERS! Thank you. This is a tall thin painting waiting for the perfect spot in your home! Thick ridge paint offers the touch of impressionism on steroids. We are hoping today to know what house will be ours. We are working two contracts with much prayer. One is a large five bedroom with a pretty nice painting area and lovely flowerbeds and gardens. The second came up late yesterday and we scrambled through traffic to cross Dallas to see it. It is a contemporary modern home of the late fifties, early sixties. Round rock walls and unique classic lines. Not much yard but enough for the dogs. It is in a sought after area and we knew if we didn't get over there and offer a contract there would be no chance of it. We left here and thirty minutes into our one hour journey the Realtor ph
MAKE OVER ~ Horse Oil Painting by Laurie Justus Pace 30 x 40 inches Oil on Canvas Contemporary Art for your Home Wednesday morning is dawning and I am ready to tear into my canvas. This will be a short blog most likely. Not even sure where I am going with this today. This painting had a make over. It was an acrylic and not real lively in color, so we had a major make over on Saturday. It is HUGE....30 x 40 inches of life and movement. Contact me if you would like it in your home. I will make a good price on this one! Yesterday I encouraged to fill your day and life with Joy. Today I want you to appreciate abundance...what is abundant in your life? (No you cannot count your problems...count your blessings.) Abundance in my life is the love of my husband and family. Abundance in my life would be the gift of my art. Abundance is the world around me provided freely by my Lord. Your blessings, joys and inspirations that make up your abundance are all part of His plan in your life. None
The Gathering Two 24 x 36 inches SOLD This was the first painting I did last year in my Gathering Series last year. I will be working on a new one this week. I am unable to post a NEW painting today as I am on laptop and not my big computer. I will encourage you today to have a joy filled heart no matter what is happening around you. The Lord provides JOY to us totally FREE!@!! No strings attached, only an attitude adjustment is needed. When Terry and I got married I used the idea of the attitude adjustment. In my art classes I had a large sun hat decorated with little tassels and soft balls fringing off the edges...bright flowers attached, feathers etc. If a student was stumped or uncreative they could opt to wear the hat. You would be amazed at how fast they lightened their day and their direction often producing some of their best artwork. Well, with Terry I didn't wear a hat, but someone had given me a beautiful black nightgown at a shower before our wedding. I saved it
RED BIRD MORNING ~ Bird Art by Laurie Justus Pace 4 x 6 inches Oil on Gallery Wrap Canvas Contemporary Art for the Home SOLD Monday is here but dawn has not arrived. I awoke with a painting in my mind so I am rushing through my blog to paint paint paint. BUT today is truly packing and shipping and going into Dallas to house hunt again! I am hoping we can secure the contract down on the house we have put a bid on, but we will see. It is in the hands of the Lord! This sweet female redbird is delightful in color. It reflects the turning leaves outside. I snapped the photo I used from my own backyard. (Trees at the new house is a must...I love seeing the Lord's birds in my backyard!) A friend wrote me after reading my blog asking if I was Jewish because I used the term, SHALOM. I am not Jewish. I am Christian, a practicing Methodist/Episcopalian/Disciples of Christ, United Church of Christ background! On the internet on Wikkipedia it says: Shalom ( שָׁלוֹם ) is a Hebrew word m
Passion RED ~ Flower Art by Laurie Justus Pace 18 x 27 inches Oil on Gallery Wrap Canvas Contemporary Art for the Home CONTACT ME FOR PRICING AND COMMISSION WORK. It is already light this morning. I almost slept through and am still struggling to keep my eyes open. I actually did a commission piece like this one this week and painted one to sell I liked the first one so much. Smooth buttery oils in brilliant red. Very stimulating. Spent the day yesterday house hunting. Found only one but it is in a Neighborhood of the Cookie Cutters...but it does have a huge area to paint in and a four car garage. It is also new, but not in the area we would have chosen first. We received back the house inspection on the house we really like in the Dallas area and it has some pretty complicated issues which makes it truly hard to decide whether to take it on or not. I am praying Lord, I can't read these Detour signs, I need them in English. When we got in last night it was late. Probably cl
JACKSON HOLE TWO ~ Abstract Horse Painting by Laurie Justus Pace 24 x 24 inches Oil on Gallery Wrapped Canvas Contemporary Art for the Home Saturday dawns but this body has been up for four hours. I was working on the book I started three years ago. Actually there are three books done and I am doing my reviewing and rewriting. Once we are moved I will be blogging parts of it to you but will let you know where and when at a later date. This painting is an acrylic painting with the combo of using TAR with the paint to create a thick substance. This is used in the mane and the tail and surrounding the horse with color. Today I am shooting my kids. Yeah, that is what I said, SHOOTING THEM! With my camera. They are heading down to Nacogdoches to celebrate their grandfather's 90th birthday and I am doing some pictures of them together and will make prints on the big printer. Hopefully Stacey will get it framed! MAYBE I will post it tomorrow for you to see my grown angels. THEN I am h
2007 Hills One Fall Colors~ Abstract Landscape by Laurie Justus Pace 18 x 24 inches Oil on Gallery Wrap Canvas Contemporary Art for the Home Contact me for pricing or for a similar commission piece for your home. I have painted HILLS up to 3 ft by 4 ft. CLICK here to email me. This is part of my HILLS Series. I did a few last year. They bring a calm balance to your mind when you stare at them.... you might use it for meditating! Somehow the temps have crept back up outside, but the day seems to hold a note of change. I can't seem to identify it, just a feeling deep with in of excitement. Too bad we can't greet everyday with such wonder and positive thoughts. Maybe it was the hot shower that woke my cells with in this morning. Maybe it was the steam that cleared my head from sleep....what ever it was I feel uplifted and rested and anticipating good from the day. Believe me, not every day starts this way, but it should. Meditating this morning brought a calmness and a chee
HAUNTED REDS ONE ~ Abstract Horse Painting by Laurie Justus Pace 18 x 27 inches Oil on Gallery Wrap Canvas Contemporary Art for the Home SOLD SOLD SOLD on Daily Painters! Thank you! Contact me for pricing or commission work. G raphics O ne D esign I promised the second half today and here it is! Continuation of blues and deep rich reds contrasted with the solid yellow golds. Isn't that what our life is like? Think about all the energy in your life. Some is positive and some is negative. Our own frame of mind dictates how we view what is happening around us and to us. Have you ever taken care of someone that was sick and very grumbly? No matter what you did to help them or make them comfortable they spewed out biting words or complaints non stop. Man is not with out emotion. God made us in His image, so God is not with out emotion either. I am sure his heart cries when we run off on tangents that are self destructive. He wants the best for us and that is what he provides.
Haunted Reds Two ~ Equine Horse Abstract Art by Laurie Justus Pace 18 x 27 inches Oil on Canvas Contemporary Art for your Home. SOLD SOLD SOLD on Daily Painters! Thank you! There are two paintings in this series and they would look wonderful bought and hung together. The bottom pictures shows them hung together. The colors literally run from one to the other engaging and blending. This is one of my favorite approaches to painting! Tomorrow I will post the second half of this series. Haunted Reds Two. We were at Fed Ex yesterday visiting with Pam as I shipped things out. We were talking about balance in our lives. God provides so much for us all the time. BUT, do you hear yourself when you are tired....if something is not wrong with things in the house, it is your spouse that is not fixing them; or your neighbor has left things out you don't want to see; or something is off with one of your children, and if it is not your children it is your parents; Or something is happening
FLOW ~ Abstract Equine Horse Oil Painting by Laurie Justus Pace 22 x 28 inches Oil on Gallery Wrapped Canvas Contemporary Art for your Home It is the day after...but birthday week carries on. We were in Dallas for lunch yesterday to celebrate my birthday and my dad's birthday. It was a warm gathering of family and so much fun bantering with my brothers. We had the typical share your dessert and Brother Bill had the best! Taramisu. I know it is not spelled correctly. It was a long day after as we began house hunting. We arrived back in Justin late last night to be greeted with a warm dinner from my neighbor with homemade break and homemade apple pie. In the midst of this I ate Candy from my friend in Sacramento (So much for the diet, so SUE DO NOT SEND CHOC CANDY... and I do not drink coffee! I will call later.) I topped it off with a glass of wine and slept well last night! Today I will be working on a second long horn commission that is 4 ft by 6 ft in size and a red floral
CHARGING ~ ABSTRACT HORSE OIL PAINTING by Laurie Justus Pace 18 x 36 inches Oil on Gallery Wrap Canvas Contemporary Art for the Home SOLD Birthday Week continues! Morgan was over yesterday when I finished this energy filled painting! Contrast and color fill my life and my paintings and the glory goes to God! With it being birthday week I often reflect over the past years of life that have been chapters of journeys all bound together. Moments of joy and pain rolled together with laughter and tears. The experiences of the lives we live are woven into the lives of those around us. Sometimes relationships are easy and other times they take tremendous work. You must be ready to forgive in your own life or you will never experience peace and be able to enjoy the future events in your life. The weight of confusion and concern that often overtakes with us with anger, can be left behind when you forgive and move on in God's light and love. Move on this week. Get back into His light.
RACE FOR HOME ~ Horse Oil Painting by Laurie Justus Pace 30 x 30 inches Oil on Gallery Wrap Canvas Contemporary Art for the Home Sunday dawns with new times and hours. The skies still are inky black outside and it feels like seven a.m. but it is truly six a.m. I am struggling to finish all of my blogging because I want to paint the sunrise this morning! This painting was completed with a wide brush and lots of contemporary color as I tried to capture the horses neck to neck racing for the stable. Yesterday Stacey and I hit shopping at six and then off to Dallas to house hunt and have a girl day of hair cuts and facials. Terry drove in and we retraced our steps through several houses and had dinner at Sweet Temptations. (Yes Tom, we ate again...he mentioned to me via phone I was eating all the time according to my blog!) We returned home through the massive mess at the Texas Motor Speedway to our waiting pups. They were happy to see us after a long day away. Do you ever feel pres
THE TEXAS THREE Texas Longhorns Oil Painting by Laurie Justus Pace 18 x 36 inches Oil on Gallery Wrap Canvas Contemporary Art for the Home SOLD on Daily Painters. THANK YOU!! Saturday has not dawned. It is about five fifteen, but I am up to evacuate the area. Today is race day, well today and tomorrow and the Texas Motor Speed Way is a definite problem when you live out here. Stacey and I are bound for an early morning sale and then into Dallas to hunt for a place for Terry and I to move. I have to make a list this time before house shopping. I didn't do that when we bought this house! Pray for our family as we find a new home. Shalom, Laurie "You have heard of this hope before in the word of the truth, the gospel that has come to you. Just as it is bearing fruit and growing in the whole world, so it has been bearing fruit among yourselves from the day you heard it and truly comprehended the grace of God.”—Colossians 1:5-6
TURN ABOUT IS FAIR PLAY ~ Horse Oil Painting by Laurie Justus Pace 30 x 30 inches Oil on Gallery Wrap Canvas Contemporary Art for the Home Friday dawns with a possible sale on our home. This is good, EXCEPT there has been no postcard from heaven on direction on where we are to go. NOT even those darn detour signs. Morgan is do over early this morning and we meet the buyers to sign the paper work. Once that is done I will be house hunting...but I do not know where. Kathy, send all available info to search your area! This painting was a huge HUGE joy to paint. It came out of nowhere and it has such an attitude. I hope you enjoy seeing it this morning. The colors are my favorites and the composition and balance just rolled in as the painting appeared on the surface. Wish they were all this fun! You know despite the unknown at this moment, there is a peace lingering in my heart and a tiny bit of anticipation of what the Lord has ahead. Terry and I need to stay out of the way and let
PRETTY BOY ~ Horse Oil Painting by Laurie Justus Pace 8 x 10 x 2 inches Oil on Deep Gallery Wrap Canvas Contemporary Art for the Home Thursday is teaching day and I have much prep work to do for class, but I am hoping to paint some early this morning. Esp if I do not blog too long! This is one I finished yesterday. Very delicate small brush but still maintaining a fresh look to the realism. Daily Word was interesting today. What is your perception of what you can do? Today is a new day. Whatever happened yesterday is gone. WAY gone. Perception is said to be the inner knowledge of truth. Give where you can today, contribute the gifts the Lord has provided and know each day reveals deeper wisdom to your journey. Shalom, Laurie “And the man looked up and said, ‘I can see people, but they look like trees, walking.’ Then Jesus laid his hands on his eyes again; and he looked intently and his sight was restored, and he saw everything clearly.”—Mark 8:24-25
