Abstract Figurative Horse Painting At the Races by Texas Artist Laurie Pace

At the Races? Not for long...visit back tomorrow to see where this painting journeyed to. I turned a corner and climbed out of the box again. I use to paint nudes like these only usually one per painting... but then I decided to just paint today and this is the direction it went. I want to explore it more and see what else I can do with people. Maybe the next one won't be nudes exactly but just figures. BUT it does not stay like this so come back tomorrow to see how it evolves...from here. I decided it was too harsh to abrasive for me. While it stands up well in Photoshop, I had a day to study it, I read a book or two and came back and it is different for tomorrows blog.   24 x 36 inches  Oil on Canvas   ©Laurie Pace    Graphics One Design 1998-2011  Sample of a nude from my collections of past paintings.    Contact me for your own commissioned painting  or to purchase this piece: Laurie      Crowded Spaces ...
