Blue Hills in progress, Landscape palette knife painting by Texas Artist Laurie Pace 40 x 40 inches Oil on Canvas There are four layers of color on the sky right now and three layers on the blue hills in the background. The line of trees in the distance has about six layers and I have not actually started the three trees that are blocked in yet. The back field has four layers of color and will get more today. I am working my way forward in the composition. I was excited by the tiny bit of reds in the back tree line peaking out and hope to discover more seasoning colors as I work today. ©Laurie Pace Graphics One Design 1998-2012 Contact me for your own commissioned painting or to purchase this piece: Laurie Prosperity "For to all those who have, more will be given, and they will have an abundance."
