This is a painting from a few years ago. I chose to post it because I loved the placement of shapes throughout the piece and the exchange and anticipation of colors woven through the composition. It is sold but I am gearing up for painting the rest of this week.  A generous person will prosper;  whoever refreshes others will be refreshed. Proverbs 11:25 Refreshed... it is supposed to be fall and we are definitely still bordering 90s.  Hoping for a break in the next week.  Still having to water our trees and flowers because of drought and we still have to watch being outside because of Air Quality Alerts.  Share a hug and a smile today if you can. Oil on Canvas  SOLD   by Laurie Pace   Saturday evening and a late blog.  The day has been filled with thunder and rain all day. West of us has had 15-19 inches and I am positive some flooding. We were to get more tonight but it looks like it shifted further south. Was hoping at least!   So this morning with the rain and thunder right out side my north two large windows... I watched the rain fall between my trellis of Passion vines... I continued to paint on this piece above and it is now almost done.   You can see from this photo in progress how I grid out to make sure the horses are in my sketch in the correct position.  I know it looks off as I had to pull it to fit in the frame... but they were all straight.  Photo foran almost finished piece tomorrow or Monda y.  Isaiah 54:17  " No weapon forged against ...

The splash of sunlight takes you eye out of the painting.  There were small piece and so much fun to get up every morning and post the painting from the day before.  Psalm 103:11  "For as high as the heavens are above the earth, So great is His love for those who fear Him."  Typical Summer weather has hit north Texas.  We had massive rains for the last four weeks and really nothing moving in this week but the full blast of Summer. © Laurie Pace        Graphics One Design 2025 Three out of the Mist Oil on Canvas  SOLD   by Laurie Pace   Three out of the Mist is  an engaging horse painting in colors I rarely paint with.  I was unsure of putting it on my website for sale, but I did and I had it on Facebook and Instagram.  It sold in 24 hours and later the owner sent me a photo of it hanging. It was right at home. I could tie into the Verses below with the lead horse is the strong one leading the others!!! Romans 14:13 "T herefore let us not pass judgment on one another any longer, but rather decide never to put a stumbling block or hindrance in the way of a brother."   Romans 15:1  "Now we who are strong ought to bear the weaknesses of those without strength and not just please ourselves."  These two verses knit together. They are about being strong in faith, or weak in faith and growing, and those that are strong should never pass judgem...
