It was used in a workshop last summer. It is available for purchase. Creamy oil paints layering together and blending both energy and color in the composition of this nude painting. "Do all things without murmurings and disputes:  That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;  Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither labored in vain." Nude Painting UnNamed by Texas Artist Laurie Pace

© G.O.D. Laurie Justus Pace      Graphics One Design 2013 Nude  24  x 30 inches Acrylic on Canvas. Available.  Well the color was fun as I approached it open hearted and no color palette in mind.  Bits of Liz Hill floated through my mind but Liz is not handy to say "NO" to me.. and I am afraid to try it and let go further without Liz's urging. This will sit for a week or more as I decide what to do for the next steps. Rushing into things was something my Dad frowned upon.  Planning and making lists were his main guide in life.  He kept his tool box full of ideas to push himself to be the best he could be and he taught that to all three of his children.  Thanks Dad. I will remember there are times to back away and let life happen. Things tend to work out better that way. I love you.  Laurie Pace A Texas Artist Golden Pond Studio My Blog          My Website          Giclees on Canvas, Prints and Cards          CFAI.co

He has that gift of bringing out the best in everyone and making each of us feel connected with the Father. We had a quiet, meditative, gentle service yesterday with guitar, piano and new music and songs for our old minds to stretch around.  The best part for me was the prayer and as Jack put it, the bookends to our prayers with music.   Hear our Prayer Lord. Jack ask us to reflect on commun

In the Raw ~ Nude by Laurie Justus Pace 24 x 36 inches Oil on Gallery Wrap Canvas Contemporary Art for your Home SOLD There is something about color and the body and the play of lights and shadows that urges this forward. Actually painted from sketches I did in college YEARS ago, too many to count...but authenticate in my box of work. This is my third in the series of Nudes 2007. I did two in 2006. Yesterday I played in paint in the morning experimenting with a new technique and approach. Taking Diane's advise at least. Started another typical explosion of color painting and sketched out a commissioned wolf painting I will start this morning. I will finish up my first piece for the Hong Kong Gallery today too....and then get ready for teaching this afternoon. BUSY day. Even in the midst of the BUSY I know there is divine order surrounding me. All circumstances fall into place for God's plan, even the challenging ones. Walk in faith today and go forward with your faith know
NUDE TWO ~ Contemporary Art by Laurie Justus Pace 22 X 28 inches Oil on Canvas SOLD WOW, we went to the mirror and the mask exhibit at the Kimball Museum in Ft Worth. It was quite a gathering of portraits and such from some renown artists...My brother Kirk and Sister in law Leslie spurred the trip on and we ended up a Caro's. Caro's is a f a b u l o u s FABULOUS Mexican Restaurant near the TCU campus. Perhaps that is why I am up at Three a.m.! TOO Much good food. Poor Terry needs his sleep. Hopefully I will go back in and crash later this morning. Meanwhile I am keeping it WAY quiet in the house. I will be starting a new painting after watching a quiet sunset on the way home in the car...triggered some thought to paint at least. IF you live in the Dallas area, I will be plugging the Arboretum show next weekend. I am in booth A22. BOOTH, egads, white tent, need to call Debbie and find out WHEN she is coming with the tent. I do not do tent shows. This is a major

Thursday and I am running out of days. I spoke to Amanda late yesterday afternoon and we decided at the last minute to put together a book for the show in Wyoming. I GET TO PUT TOGETHER the book in between finishing up the pieces she wants me to send. Today I will work on some flowers to go up with the horses and cowboys and do some prints as well. Terry will have to shake a leg and get the mega printer fired up. I need to call ASEL ART early and have Jim send some stretcher bars to us so we can get some gliclee ready as well. This painting I finished up yesterday while the water filter man was chasing a leak under my sink where the filter system is located. He did not finish up until after six thirty last night. It was terribly interrupting to my work and finishing up things. I am painting in acryli
