There are two paintings in this series and they would look wonderful bought and hung together. The bottom pictures shows them hung together. The colors literally run from one to the other engaging and blending. This is one of my favorite approaches to painting! Tomorrow I will post the second half of this series. Haunted Reds Two.
We were at Fed Ex yesterday visiting with Pam as I shipped things out. We were talking about balance in our lives. God provides so much for us all the time. BUT, do you hear yourself when you are tired....if something is not wrong with things in the house, it is your spouse that is not fixing them; or your neighbor has left things out you don't want to see; or something is off with one of your children, and if it is not your children it is your parents; Or something is happening at work, and if that is not it, it is something off with one of your coworkers; or if that is not happening then something is wrong at church, or someone has caused a ruckus somewhere in your life. ALWAYS something is wrong and we seem to focus on it. We should not do that. We should immediately stop those thoughts and find the positive around us. The great weather we are having, the food we ate for breakfast, the hot coffee or tea we are sipping at this moment; Give thanks for our health, our working fingers at this computer, the ability to think and move with out the affects of MS. After you do that, then pray for those that REALLY have a lot to bear. My neighbor's sons just went through surgery for one adult son to donate a kidney to the other adult son. The kidney went in fine and was perfect for the past week, and suddenly yesterday it failed. Her husbands son-in-law broke his neck yesterday and at the time she wrote, he was in surgery that had extended past six hours. My sister-in-law has MS, my dad has Alzheimers....things we cannot fix or make disappear. Look at your self sitting here at this moment...do you not have a multitude of blessings to count?
Shalom,
Laurie
