In the Wild - Santuario de Caballos Salvajes

© Laurie Pace        Graphics One Design 2025 IN THE WILD Oil on Panel SOLD   by Laurie Pace   Good morning. .. this is a must for you to click on the painting and read about the Wild Horses in Texas.  Santuario de Caballos Salvajes  My past week has been upside down and hopefully between today and tomorrow we can put our house back together!    Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?” John 11:25-26 That is why not many blogs the past week. NO painting, no working in the studio..but moving things, rearranging things, packing things, throwing away things....    We removed an old 'appliance' fireplace that was almost 20 years old. It stopped working last winter. We had talked of putting in a 'real' fireplace  and that is happening. It unfortunately is not a solid...

In Sync Western Horse Painting by Elle Pace

© Laurie Pace        Graphics One Design 2025 In Sync Oil on Canvas  SOLD   by Laurie Pace   It is this Rusty red that makes me fall in love with this horse painting!   On the chest below where the horse's neck has a triangle of blue, you have a deep red and then a bright red and back into the depth of deep red leading to the leg. Color is definitely my addiction.  This morning I began the layout for a small painting of a precious child.  I have prepared the canvas with Gesso and then with a light coverage of dark red melded down.  There is scripture on the base and the drawing has been etched in. I had hopes of beginning but had a busy morning on a few phone calls. This is why my blog is late today!  “Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith. Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.“  —  R...

Alone . Finding Self Worth . Horse Paintings for Sale . Laurie Pace . Pure Justus

© +Laurie Pace         Graphics One Design 2019 Lonely Boy    Prints Available ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- FOLLOW MY BLOG  ON INSTAGRAM     @lauriepaceblog Available Paintings by Laurie Pace          “I restore myself when I'm alone.”   Marilyn Monroe .   At times in my life being alone was terrifying and other times I craved it. When I was younger, there were times I was really uncomfortable being alone. What I have learned in the past years is that silence and alone time builds a strength in understanding who I am, and that I can be comfortable in my life as this person created by God. Perhaps when we master the solitude of aloneness and quiet, we begin to find our self worth.   Too often in life today, we are pushed by our own thoughts and needs to finish or accompli...

Laurie " Then one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, praising God with a loud voice. " Luke 17:15 Next shot on the the children on the beach...stay tuned. When I woke yesterday morning I celebrated the joy of Sunday. Sunday is a day that symbolizes God's Day. A day to rest, honor, reflect, heal, praise and release to Him everything that is burdening me at the time. It was on this day yesterday that I spent the day in quiet mediation through out the day, in between the normal activities, focusing on healing and be ready for the week as it arrives this morning. With that healing prayer came health and strength from the Father. His serenity filled my mind, heart and soul. There was no room left for anxiety. I am sure before this day is over, anxious moments will return. Mondays and Tuesdays we have our 3 month old granddaughter to care ...

Genesis 18:27 Through the Dust Even in Dallas we get our fair share of dust storms from west Texas. You can see it coming across the horizon in the west and the sky begins to turn a murky yellow. You have about 20 minutes to get where you are going and get everything buttoned up and shut in the house. The dust begins blowing through and it is worse than fog because it hurts if you are out in it. It stings and bites as it hits your face and your arms. You definitely should not try and breath and it will scratch your eyes if you allow it to hit your face unprotect...
