I heard the Severe Heat area is both  north and north east from us. Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas, Tennessee ... and more. I think I will be thankful for ours and thinking we might break 100-105 through this weekend and into next week. Ps 79:72 In our lives it is impossible for us to predict the storms we may face before they arrive out of no where. Available Paintings by Laurie Pace  The three main horses are established and I am working to see if I can hold at three or if a fourth has to be added. At this time in this contemporary horse painting I am working closely with the decorator and the collector to match up colors from the fabrics and paints in the room. This is often hard for me because I want bits and tastes of many colors. I have finished it up and will post the final image tomorrow. SOLD  Golden Rod was a painting completed in 2012 for my opening show at Mirada Fine Art in Denver.  The painting sold the first week it was there. My job will be to allow it to develop on it's own and not to loo

This is not how I paint now, but this is the style desired for this commissioned piece. Energy throbs in this piece with the angles of paint and strokes and the thickness of the paint. SOLD  As I eased around the top blue corner right I broke out in brilliant golds and yellows using Indian Yellow and white, a little light yellow cad and then infused white and oranges throughout the area. The paint will really thicken now and become a textured part of the composition. I was veering away from too much green but wanted a little hint of sprigs of green as I worked toward the bottom right.
