I am going to share parts of a story that I can share while still protecting my collector. This is a beginning sketch above on the canvas. I was playing around and realized afterward I had not put a coat of light acrylic on the canvas before I began sketching. I will be approaching this painting differently. EIGHT years ago a young woman saw this smaller painting and really wanted it. EIGHT years ago it was purchased by a man for his wife and the young woman was very disappointed. FOR SIX YEARS the young woman kept the painting as her screen saver. LAST YEAR t h e young woman was diagnosed with cancer and died a short time later. FOR MONTHS her husband tried to find me. LAST MONTH I was called by an out of state Gallery asking if they could share m
