© G.O.D. Laurie Justus Pace      Graphics One Design 2013 Running in Color  32 x 48 inches Oil on Canvas. Mirada Fine Art  Not sure I am finished but this horse painting is a big one. Four feet in height and almost three feet wide.  I went through 22 tubes of paint so that tells you how thick the pulls are. This is not photographed in great light so I may repost later this week as I finish it up.  It is in the sit and watch mode.  Laurie Pace A Texas Artist Golden Pond Studio My Blog          My Website          Giclees on Canvas, Prints and Cards          CFAI.co      GALLERY LINKS Mirada Fine Art Denver CO ,   The Rare Gallery Jackson Hole WY   The White Dog Gallery Carbondale, CO. We really truly never own anything for eternity... it is only for our short lifetime.   We all are guilty of collecting possessions. We seem to have the mentality of who has the most wins at the end.  No one wins.  Possession bring responsibilities and with responsibilities comes 'tired and weary' as you continue to make more money to buy more 'possessions'.   Read more Click Here. Starlight Run Horse Painting by Texas Artist Laurie Pace

© G.O.D. Laurie Justus Pace      Graphics One Design 2012 Starlight Run  30 x 40 inches Oil on Canvas.  Click Here to Purchase . I finished up the first Starlight run. In the next few days I will begin the one with the Fluid Acrylics to see how they compare. Words of my heart... In that day, in every place where there were a thousand vines worth a thousand silver shekels, there will be only briers and thorns. Isaiah 7:23 Have you ever been so determined to be truthful as you confront or speak to friends that you are brutally honest?  This ties into yesterday when you are looking into things do not always trust what you see, but trust your heart and what you feel.   Read more here. Beginnings of STARLIGHT, Horse Painting by Texas Artist Laurie Pace

© G.O.D. Laurie Justus Pace      Graphics One Design 2012 Beginnings of Starlight 30 x 40 Acrylic on Deep Canvas I had a color palette in mind when I began this painting. I did paint the surface first with layers of glazing but I used regular acrylics.  I will finish this one up for the final posting tomorrow.   Then next I want to try the same color palette but using fluid acrylics to compare the build of the layering.  It will be a different horse with the same color palette. Words of my heart... “For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive in the Spirit.” 1 Peter 3:18 This is looking own our driveway to the street.  Some of the slower trees are just beginning to change with the cold weather the last few weeks. I am surprised this looked as green as it does as they are really rather bright yellow. Read more here. My Blog     My Web

Morning Get Away Horse Painting by Texas Artist Laurie Pace

Morning Get Away reworked... by Texas Artist Laurie Pace Things settle in the studio as I work around them daily... and I then know what I am moved to do with them. This was basically heavily applied acrylics. I went back with layerings of oil on top of it and re-adjusted parts of the colors balancing each other.  This is available on CFAI.co  or you can email me an offer.  I consider ALL offers.  Make sure you mention Morning Get Away. 18 x 27 x 2 inches Mixed Media, Oil and Acrylic ©Laurie Pace    Graphics One Design 1998-2012  Contact me for your own commissioned painting or to purchase this piece: Laurie      Subscribe Working with CFAI.co has been a tremendous learning experience. Things are going decently well yet something does not feel in balance.  We are blessed with opportunities and gifts from the Father and offered opportunities every single day, but still things may not be as they should be.  Maybe some small changes are in order. Trying something new might bring back the order you are missing.  Start with how you think about things and view them.  Can you climb out of the box you are in and look at everything from a different perspective?  God will support you spiritually if you are including Him on your evaluations.  He will be there with you no matter what you choose to change or do.
