Laurie  © Laurie Justus Pace     Graphics One Design 2009 The Painting :  This began with an undercoat of Indian Yellow, swipes of Deep red and orange and gorgeous sunrise runs of paint.  Thus began this composition.  The added layers of acrylic build the horse off the surface of the canvas. The Thought : This was a busy shipping week with over 15 pieces going out to various collectors and galleries.  The market had slowed last month but was quite brisk this weekend.  I gave up trying to figure out the economy.  We closed on our refinancing loan yesterday, pulling together all our home improvement loans out on the house we have redone.  It settles everything in one loan for 5% which is a positive thing for us until we know if Terry will be offered an early retirement package.
