The seeds of your future! Here is what I did on Sunday Morning... Texas Artist Laurie Pace

"The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully." 2 Corinthians 9:6 The summer heat has been harsh on our yard and our flowers. We are in round two of sowing more Zinnia seeds. As you can see in the photo above, it is EASY to cull out seeds from the dead or dying blooms and have seeds for more blooms this year or saving them for next year.  The last few years we have not had much luck with our Zinnia beds.   The seeds above are from our Marigolds. These are helpful for gardens in reproduction by bringing in 'helpers' to pollinate. They also reduce bugs in the area.  I did not know till this weekend how many seeds were in one marigold bloom... Let's just say fifty plus, or maybe one hundred

And everything did. Your whole life you can be told something is wrong and so you believe it. Why should you question it? But then slowly seeds are planted inside of you, one by one, by a touch or a look or a day skateboarding in a park, and they start to burst out of old hulls shells and they start to sprout. And pretty soon there are so many of them. They are named Love and Trust and Kindness and Joy and Desire and Wonder and Spirit and Soulmate. They grow into a garden so dense and thick that it starts to invade your brain where the old things you were once told are dying.
