What does this mean?  Keeping an open mind is one of the hardest things to do. We always seen to have an opinion on something and we want to be heard. If you are as strong willed as I am, often I do not hear what the other person is saying because I am preplanning how I am going to phrase what I want to say to them, making it impossible for me to hear anything from anyone else.   Keeping an open mind involves allowing yourself to embrace new and different things. Peace begins inside of you. You can be peaceful and calm in the midst of the storm. Take yourself to a silent place and reconnect with peace.  Meditation or having a mantra helps but you have to remember to do it. Repeating a phrase will seem silly at first,

Horse 56 Ode to Joy   © +Laurie Pace         Graphics One Design 2014 Horse 56 Ode to Joy by Laurie Pace  Size:8 x 10  Oil on Canvas. Available Paintings by Laurie Pace  This painting is thick.  It is really thick. I have some additional close up images on the main website if you want to see them.
