I love this painting. It was done in January of 2010. Looking back through at some favorites inspires me before I paint today. I am starting a paint it forward piece for someone that needs inspiration and light and color in their lives right now. My art is a gift from God and it is a privilege to use it to lift up hope and love. The Race is On I remember these days in my second most favorite studio, the one before the lake. We had purchased a 1955 home built by an architect that studied under Frank Lloyd Wright. 400 sq feet... in a house I could have lived in my whole life and loved.
