Celebrate Each Day The past month has brought monumental changes in our lives... especially mine. I lost my closest family member that was 94 years old.  Our days are determined by the Lord, and none of us expected her to live this long and most of the 94 years in good health.  She has had several close calls with death in the last half of her life but rallied through everything.    Her hands were that of a healer... they held us all as babies, as young children, a church friend, a kind neighbor, a hungry teen, our marriages, our babies (grandchildren and great grandchildren), our own hands through brutal times in life... She spent 94 1/2 years wal

Rare Cat Painting by Texas Artist Laurie Pace

© G.O.D. Laurie Justus Pace      Graphics One Design 2013 Rare Cat Painting  SOLD  I came across this painting in my archives of images. I painted it in the summer of 2008 or 2009. I do not paint many cat paintings at all. Probably have done four in my life.  I am not a cat owner... especially not with Paddy Dog.  We have cats in our families...our extended families. All of my immediate family has dogs!  BUT it was fun painting this one.  We have to shake up our rules and ways on occasion and  climb out of the box. In that day you will say:  “Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name;     make known among the nations what he has done  and proclaim that his name is exalted.  Sing to the Lord, for he has done glorious things;     let this be known to all the world.  Shout aloud and sing for joy, people of Zion,  for great is the Holy One of Israel among you.” Isaiah 12:4-6 Laurie Pace A Texas Artist   My Blog

The more I thought about it the more I realized we all are intense wool gathers.  As we try so hard in life to make things work our way...our way is the wooly way. It is what we have gathering up in our brain to be the way things should be. You can find the definition as: Indulgence in idle fancies and in daydreaming; absentmindedness. Laura's book was anything but that, and I did not put it down until I finished the last page.  But the term woolgathering stayed with me as I reflected on it.  Then I had picked up my Bible and was reading Joshua today... I was onl

There is actually a website www.nothingistoohardforGod.org I had no idea it existed. I found this verse on my Bible site today and have been studying and concentrating on it...repeating over and over again that Nothing Is Too Hard for God. When I visited the website I noticed they covered everything from addiction to finances, to relationships and illness.  I listened to one of them and thought, they make is sound so simple... and it is truly simple, but our minds are not simple. It is our overw
