If You Go I Will Follow You

© Laurie Pace        Graphics One Design 2025 If You Go I Will Follow You     Horse 4 2014  Laurie Pace   Oil on Canvas  SOLD   by Laurie Pace   Horse 4 from 2014...   I decided to skip around the years. Thinking I should maybe do some small paintings and put them up for sale like I did with these years ago. Maybe I can do that after all!   This is one of my wild things and it truly makes this artist smile ear to ear!!!  Acts 3:6 "Then Peter said, “Silver or gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk.” Several of my readings this morning had to do with giving of all you have in talent, in possessions, in teaching, in touching and reaching out to others... that my friends is serving our Lord with those talents, possessions, and prayers. All we do should be in God's name and for His Glory. There is much in my mind this morning...

Better Together

© Laurie Pace        Graphics One Design 2025 Better Together Oil on Canvas  SOLD   by Laurie Pace   Better Together a beautiful Horse Painting that was a commission.  Mama Horse and four young horses different sizes of course. The older ones are further in the back and two closer are the babies! Mama is the front horse on the left. 1 John 3:16 "This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters." 1 John 3:11–18  speaks of opposites in emotions. The contrast between hate and love.  If you are a Christian believer, love is deeply rooted in your being.  Being the opposite of love, evil is simply a jealous hatred for goodness of love itself.  If you are faith filled, love is expected along with selfless sacrifice such as laying down your life for others.  Christians are expected to do more than feel love, they are to act and ...

Watering Hole Crested Butte

© Laurie Pace        Graphics One Design 2025 Watering Hole Crested Butte Oil on Canvas  SOLD   by Mirada Fine Art and Laurie Pace   Watering Hole Crested Butte is a contemporary representational abstract horse painting . This definitely entices me to paint blindly like this and see what can be created again. I do have one in process right now but realized I need to let go further!  Matthew 8:8, 13 The centurion answered, “Lord, I’m not worthy for you to come under my roof. Just say the word, and my servant will be healed.” Jesus said to the centurion, “Go your way. Let it be done for you as you have believed.” His servant was healed in that hour. Was a restful night and for this morning's blog I was going to use something from scripture from early morning 5 am,  because this morning I was in my morning Devotion from Daily Bible and here is an excerpt from it, but I encourage you to read the short devotion from...

I love discovering paintings I have not seen since I created them! Greens, Reds, Oranges and Blues and Whites! Something to attract every eye! Looks like spring!!! 1 Peter 1:3 "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead."  Easter was a beautiful day despite all the storms the night before with tornados and hail and strong winds.  This time our area was to the east and missed most of the harsh weather by only 4-5 miles to our west. Thankful for sure. The sun broke out by about eleven and the day was beautiful. We had steady rain through the night and I know all my plants and trees are ...

At least I have thoughts to direction.  THAT is a beginning!!  I am also ordering a new smaller easel for my studio then the big Santa Fe 2 I had in here. It became frustrating to move it around.  Hubby has my lights set up and I am thinking this will work! Meanwhile... I am painting it forward! Romans 8:28 ...

After the Afternoon Rains

© Laurie Pace        Graphics One Design 2024 After the Afternoon Rains Oil on Canvas  SOLD   by Laurie Pace   My heart is breaking for all that were impacted by the hurricane.  Usually after regular rain, the sun comes out and there is still moisture in the air and everything seems to glow and glisten.  When I saw the shots of Asheville NC and the Artist's Studios under mud and water to the roofs ... my artist heart cannot even imagine.  Many of us do not know the physical devastation of events like this. Living in Texas and at one time about an hour or so from the coast in Nacogdoches for 18 years, we weathered many storms but nothing with devastation that hit Florida, Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina.  We have friends in Tennessee but I have not heard if they were affected.  It would be awesome if Artists across the United States could come together and do what they did for Hawaii, o...
