I came across it penciled on my canvas and started working on it two months ago. It was a Christmas gift to her parents. John 16:33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” I chose this verse to help us remember what Christmas is truly about. It was not just about Jesus' birth, but it is about our salvation through his birth, life and death here on earth as He was Risen from the dead after dying on the cross for our sins. Jesus has overcome the world. It is time to reflect and recognize the true blessings of God, which of course include the birth, life and death of His son, allowing our salvation through Him.
