My peonies are blooming too. These flowers are my vision when things begin to fail around me, or evil seems to arise.  In your life now and before, there are likely things you did not like that you had to deal with no matter what.  Over the years you learn resilience from these times and often that came at a price of knocking your head a few times, the hard way.  Today we all have to learn to endure in faith like NEVER BEFORE. What the enemy meant for evil, God can turn it around for our own good. We must trust in the Lord. Romans 8:28 ..."Or that all things work together for good to those who love God, who; or that in all things God works together with those who love him to bring about what is good for those who have been called to his purpose" Pray for my family right now.

My husband posed for me for the hands in it.  This was back in 1998, 25 years ago.  The Power Tears and joy never fail me when I read this verse and the others mirrored in all the Gospels. Being worthy before God is certainly in my mind, as I know every day I sin through my thoughts and occasionally words but not necessarily physical deeds.  How do you do this all the time? Yesterday morning the winds switched from the south (we have been at 80 degrees for a week, down from 90-95 the week before) and with the north wind zooming in, Fall officially arrived with a cold freeze last night. It was 31 this morning but felt like mid twenties.  BLAST OF BLUE! I am working on a large canvas and this small one today . I have written often about 'getting in the way of the painting' and over controlling the paint itself. It works rarely when you do this. When you tightly paint or over compensate for what the subject is, you tend to lose the freshness of painting and the joy of the journey.  I am feeling that way with the larger painting... so I picked up a cradled Panel board a
