These are hot red poppies done in a pop art type fashion with color steaming from the canvas!  I have been thinking about painting flowers this next week, and posting this older painting made me hungry to do it!  Poppies are one flower I have never planted.  Might be too hot in Texas.  We have hydrangeas, iris, zinnia, marigolds, roses, dahlias, and more!  Right now only the marigolds are hanging in the heat but fading rapidly.  On another side, I will share that I just finished a few weeks of study in Hebrews and have started in Romans.  Not using any study guide... just reading...
