POST 4001 Rain Drops Been busy tinkering at a family home with updating, and this painting was completed for a special place in the house a few years back. The photos are shiny but I wanted to get it up to share with you. Painted around 2010, it is oil on canvas and framed by the Dutch Art Gallery in Dallas. I decided to bring it home, since I was replacing it with others , and offer it on my website at a special price. What I love about this flower painting are the values and the colors. The reds lean to a rich deep rose color and the greens edge into the moss greens you find in the woods. The raindrops bring it all together almost like a woodland snapshot.
