This was first of this series and I painted it for an architect in Chicago. It was big but not overlarge. Thinking 42 in width. It is near 80 degrees outside and last week we were down at 2 degrees. The whimsical bright colors and the brilliant sky make each horse stand strong in position at the stream they stopped to drink. True heavy palette knife with very thick strokes of paint.   My painted ponies are alive with color and wide knife strokes!  Hebrews 11:1 "Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see."
