The startling effect of the Indian Gold on the neck near the mane creates a path for the eye to feel the gentle neck of the horse.  Strength in the face and eyes on this equine, hence the name, Gaze of Strength. Finally the trees are budding out with green leaves.  It is officially spring by the calendar. I noted on the weather news last night the record high for a date last week was 100 degrees. ??? (this is March?)  We were at a high that day of 54 and a low that night around freezing. It happened in 1916.
