It started with an acrylic base and then the layering of the oils with my palette knife. I love the tiny woven in bits or orange. I make it with Quinacridone Scarlet and Cad Yellow Light. It is a yummy color for me. I am doing different sizes with some of the paintings... some are larger and some are the 8 x 8 gems. I love those the most.
