You do have control over where you point your thoughts and prayers. When you expect good, you are directing your thoughts to finding the positive in everything.  When fear begins to crawl in, it is tempting to begin worrying again. I am really guilty of this one.  I have to literally turn my thoughts to God and put my faith in Him to walk me through this sudden dark cloud that has dropped in over my head. Just take a slow deep breath... concentrate on the Lord and let out your air slowly blowing that  cloud away and refocusing on the abundance God  has provided. You only find slight soft accents of reds and yellows.  The paint is thick and is Holbein Duo Oils .  The Thought : The gathering of so much talent took place yesterday at the Dutch Art Gallery . The Artists of Texas had their first gallery showing.  Kay Wyne was the liaison for the AOT group and the gallery and did a fabulous job.  When you walked in  you were blown away by the intensity of the work as well as the diversity.  None of this everyone painting the same thing.  None of this "your work reminds me of someone else's work".  All original and all unique.  I will put up a slide show in a day or two of the show. The Artists of Texas is a group that wel

Laurie © Laurie Justus Pace Graphics One Design 2009 I have a post note at the bottom of this post... please take a moment and read it. " Make a joyful noise to the Lord all the earth. " Psalm 100:1 Do you have a pair of old slippers? What about a favorite coffee cup? There are things we have that bring us great comfort even in their simplicity. Those 'things' are a sign to us of contentment and when in use we feel contented and safe. In comparison... what is joy? Those slippers are definitely contentment, a sign you have arrived home safe from the world, or warmth on a cold morning etc. But Joy, are those slippers joy to you? Joy has to be found in the moment and it comes directly from Him. Joy is in us at all times,
