She was an artist of Texas back then...now Colorado... and I took my mom to paint at this workshop too.  It truly was fun. I did sell it to a collector knowing it was painted at a workshop. It reminds me of my grandmother's farm in Florissant MO. I have written before describing the inner circle of flowers in the circular dirt drive. As a toddler most of the flowers were as tall as I was.  There was always a mist every morning at the farm when we woke up around 6 a.m.  Morning is always good! Terry brought me in cut flowers this morning!  I was thrilled....Dead flowers, are they really dead?   Absolutely NOT!  Through death they provide the seeds for new blooms in our lives.   ( By the way... these are Zinnias) There is always a gift or legacy that survives a person's death as well, and new things to grow. Memories always remain, some dimming with the years.
