We have a pattern down pat for our stores and our times and our needs.  Last week our morning began crazy and we were running late for Senior Shopping.   They do have a great selection of organic veggies and fruit!!! 👉💚💚 As we arrived I asked Terry to drop me off at the front door and he could gas up the truck and I would be almost through by the time he was finished.  I grabbed my purse and pulled out my Costco Card... pulle

Still raining.  This is incredible!  Fire in the fireplace, potato leek soup for lunch and apple cobbler made with crumbs on the top for dessert. A girl cannot want much more! We survived yesterday without internet and television. The storms continued.  I was beginning to wonder about bedtime, but had a book ready to read, when suddenly it was all back.  Depends on your position in the world right now whether that was 'Deep State' interference or God's handiwork in lightning strikes!  I h

Josh Billings Freedom in running... all of our dogs have been runners. They LOVE to run. Annie always came home after her jaunts. Some of them were in neighbors pastures and she came home covered in horse dung. Paddy, not so much. When he runs... he runs looking for prey. We are scrambling to catch him.  We are thankful he is aging and at least we THOUGHT we could catch him if he tries to dart out the front door. BUT we have found, we have aged too.  Galatians 5:22-23

They don't know evil or jealousy or discontent. To site with a dog on a hillside on a glorious afternoon is to be back in Eden, where doing nothing was not boring, it was peace." Milan Kundera So this painting is for the man of the ranch and his baby dog Sock, who ruled the ranch. I loved painting these two precious pieces for the couple of their babies. Blazing through Judges last week... Terry and I read about the Samson and Delilah debacle. Of course I love the song "The Hallelujah" and sing it all the

Milne Every day someone somewhere PROMISES us something.  Occasionally it pans out and they keep their promise.  Most of the time we are left high and dry. This is something that will never happen with God.  His saving help is constantly available to us. His personal invitation  (Promise) has no expiration on it. We can turn to Him at any time and feel safe in His Promise.  Can you trust this love?  YES    Do you have to

So that you can come back. So that you can see the place you came from with new eyes and extra colors. And the people there see you differently, too. Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving.” ― Terry Pratchett, A Hat Full of Sky Yes, I painted in New York back in 2008. We had moved to Dallas the winter before and my Mom had a serious of bad health issues and my Dad's health was not in a good place.  We grabbed Mom and flew up to Washington DC and drove up to the Finger Lake Region to Visit my friend Billie Bauman.  I painted Billie's Dog, Fast

One of those days I think about what began my journey in art and my journey in life.  I loved Rachel's quote about the grains of sand and the story of the earth. In the same line of thinking, my artwork has a story line of my own life on this earth as does my blog. There have been many influences over the years from history, living, relationships a

For years the dog has been called man's best friend.  Dog's do not require much in life... a little food, water, shelter and an occasional pat on the head or a tummy rub.  What they give back is more than just love... it is loyalty and unconditional love.  They do not hold anger against you if you forget their food one  morning, or if you neglect to talk to them or acknowledge them. They still love you. Dogs are every faithful and devoted for life. Through the puppy's eyes they see you as the best thing in the entire world. They cannot wait to see you wake up in the morning or for you to give them a pat or hug.  They will follow you EVERYWHERE in the house until you do acknowledge them.  The dog sees you as a parent, a best friend, a partner and a soulmate.
