This was so much fun to do and it is one I will always remember.  Emma and I have traded paintings of our own last year. This year I was able to paint this soccer painting for her family. Our TV carrier has been out. We have one of those dishes on the roof. I am not big on TV so I have not missed it, but Terry is suffering.  If we did not have internet with NETFLIX on demand I think he would  have moved us to a hotel by now. I will look up the weather today as I have no idea what is happening and it has been back pretty hot in the afternoon.  Mornings it is about 50 degrees but afternoons are creeping up to ninety again. I can't help but wonder how they are adjusting to the new home in California.  With all of our many moves I discovered it takes about a year to two years to finally settle in and feel like it is home.   Why does it seem to take so long to adjust to who we really are as God made us?  Some of us take more than two years and some don't ever adjust in their lifetime.  Face it our lives are full of constant adjustments.  We adjust as we go to nursery school for the fir

Laurie © Laurie Justus Pace     Graphics One Design 2010 My Blog My Website     A short late blog this morning.  I have been working most of the night on the 8 page spread for ContemporaryFineArtInternational.com .  Our first introduction into the art world with the huge support of our artists. There are over 75 international artists participating in the feature.   Meanwhile yesterday Ken Vaughan, the videographer/photographer departed late afternoon. We spent most of the morning going through voiceovers and retaping certain segments.  I am looking forward and cringing at the same time to see what he comes up with.  The most difficult to imagine is just seeing myself. I was a professional model for 25 years.  Beanstalk thin at 5 ft 9 inches and 115 lbs...all the way to age 52 or 53.  No longer.
