(2 Corinthians 4:7) The secret of the Christian life is realizing that we contain the life of the Lord Jesus Christ released through the Holy Spirit.  Even though the container may be a little misshapen, or even cracked, the value is the treasure we contain, not in the container itself. The Thought: We made several trips to the neighborhood work area. Once every month or two they bring in a dumpster and you can load it with anything but brush or trees or grass.  It is here about a week and then it goes away until the next time.  We happened to notice there was a sign up that said DUMPSTER is here.  We have truly been working hard the past few days emptying the stuff left by the prior owner and finishing up and sorting the rest of our stuff too.  Terry has made three runs so far and we will go once more this afternoon.    The men that work the yard here in the neighborhood have one of the digger machines with the scooper on it. It is a tall one.  What they do is as the dumpster fills up, they sprinkle smel...

LADY C Horse Painting by Laurie Justus Pace 48 x 72 inches Mixed Media, Acrylic Glazing SOLD Commission Contact me for Commission work: Laurie In the midst of busy studio life I completed the layering on this commission painting. The size is 48 by 72 inches. (4 ft by 6 ft) I did a smaller one earlier this week to see how I liked working with the layers and glazing and it was definitely different. This particular piece does not have the music in the background, but has Lady Chatterly's Lover page by page. Personally I would have like a nude stretched across it, but this family has small children so it was best to be a horse theme. If you really look at it you see the "HEART" or the heART with in. Combine the check of the large horse on the right and follow the heart shaped into neckline and shoulder of the running horse.
