It is a portrait of Conni's youngest daughter and it sold to raise money for a women's shelter.  It was entitled simply "Grace". Working together on the same canvas was a unique and basically one time happening for me. Having four eyes balancing the depth and details along with two hands strongly adding their own personality to the painting... this reminded me of how our lives seem to go ... hand in hand with the Father, but He has the strongest stroke in our lives. Early Fall 11 x 14 inches Oil on Panel A Painting a Day SOLD My thoughts are to fall already! BUT I cannot complain with the temps as they have been in our region, but for painting I am always thinking color. We were in and out of Dallas fast yesterday...had to tend to something at home that came up quickly. We have family with surgery next Tuesday and are in the prelims of getting things ready. We are suppose to leave for Wyoming a day after that so I pray all goes well. We will be in Colorado the next week and I will be painting from there! YEAH....and taking tons of pictures. I heard from Barbie, that was visiting from Salt Lake City. She had the horror tale of the trip home with a delay that kept her a full day from reaching home. I enjoyed our visit so much! Wish she lived closer, we would definitely be active together on a daily basis. TODAY is Conni Tögel's birthday, so I have to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Wish we were together to share a glass of wine and some cake. Remember

Looking into Grace 24 X 30 inches Oil on Canvas A Painting a Day by Two International Artists! WOW, what energy from Conni's stay this week! Yesterday we finished up the painting we started on Sunday night. Sunday Night we worked until after Midnight...then grabbed a few hours of sleep and drove north to St Jo Texas to visit Donna Howell Sickles in her church/gallery/studio. After two hours of soaking in the gentle beauty there and visiting, we drove back through HUGE Texas Storms. There we were on some back country road that Donna sent us site seeing on, LOST. Found some highway workers and found our direction and about that time the heavens opened and the winds from the storm tossed my little Passat here and there! We found a home to pull up next to because the rain was so heavy we could not see. We were happy to arrive home an hour later and begin painting! This was a blast. Two artists, Two styles, Two matching palettes for color balance and hours of fun! Can't even b
