Praying for all friends and family that have been affected by the hurricane through storms and loss of power. West by Northwest was an investigative painting and when I did this back in 2014, I truly did not know what would come out of it until it presented itself DONE! As true to my nature 99% of the time there is an odd number of horses as well as my odd chest into leg area on the white horse. I had this 'thing' about hearts and horses back then. No more. The magic here for me is the layers of color and light and horses... almost like an early morning fog and you can see them but not make out the things around them.
