The book pages disappeared... © Laurie Pace        Graphics One Design 2026 Haunted Mesa Oil on Canvas  SOLD   by Laurie Pace   One thing struck me that I don't think I have put into words before. Book pages disappear. The viewer cannot read them anymore. But they still determine everything that comes afterward. Isn't that exactly how our lives work? The books we've read. Wiping out a painting in progress with pastel colors... opposite my normal palette.

WIPE OUT © Laurie Pace        Graphics One Design 2026 It was a wipeout. You saw it before as a horse running toward you in blues and greens.  It was not working. Quite a distance in choice. Read more at my website blog. I am better and back in the studio. Shipping some things to my gallery in Santa Fe tomorrow. You can read more about what has had me down on my website blog. Hubby and I both had something that took over 6 weeks to resolve. My faith and trust in God is what got me through this. Appreciate your patience and your prayers.   Elle     •  f aith and relationships  •  humility in relationships   •     God’s calling to serve Shop other Available Artwork.  Follow the Spirit of the Paint... with ...

Like a licked-clean foal taking its first steps on wobbly legs. Or a new butterfly pushing scrunched, damp wings from a chrysalis.” Tesse Dare - A Week to be Wicked The discovery in this painting was exhilarating. It started much differently with a single horse and very subtle colors and suddenly I saw these two in the paint. They appeared in shape and form. We often never see the best things God places in front of us.  This horse and foal painting is waiting for you.  “ Then the Lord passed in front of him and proclaimed:Yahweh—Yahweh is a compassionate and gracious God, slo...
