"   Isaiah 58:13-14 Sunday Paint before Church The year was 2005 It was really a thought in my head when I woke up at three a.m. and headed to the studio, not a full painting!   Once I started it, it kept going on it's own.  I listed it up for sale and by the time we returned fr

" Painted in September of 2010, this painting grew in my heart and I fell in love with it the further I worked on it that fall. It was almost as if the leaves around the pond and the lake inspired the colliding colors and patterns. Living on a 5 acre cat fish pond and Lake Cypress Springs in East Texas, gave us a lot of waterfront. (as well as a plethora of snakes and oak mold.  My studio was a beautiful glassed in porch across the back of the house with plenty of room to paint big or small and have the view of the water at all times. It was more than water, it was wildlife of all sorts including those slithering ones. I painted every day and loved the continuous feed of color through Mother Nature inspiring me.  Living now in th

Milne, When We Were Very Young The Painting I chose to reach out to the past and the Painted Ponies that began in 2006. This is a brand new very wet painting.  I am collected world wide for this style. Fresh colors on the palate with golden hue. With repetitive long strokes with my palette knife, the beauty of the yellow blended over golds and whites brings joy and smiles. The paint is layered thick - up to 1/2 inch in places.  Will take a few weeks to cure. Love the color of the paint!  Click the painting if you are interested in seeing more of it close up.

Be led by the dreams in your heart.” Roy T. Bennett, The Light in the Heart                                                           The Painting This could have named this the celebration of color.  Not sure of day or night. BUT you can be sure it carries full color into the party of life.  Named the Invitation, this is the third painting in the Red Shoed Pony pieces. Action and color with four to seven layers of paint in areas that count… It is the "Pure Justus Collection" by Laurie Pace My Turn - The Invitation to Find your Path Ten years ago in a painting workshop at Selah Inn, just north of Mount Vernon, Texas, I used a slogan, "It is not art until you step out of

It is always in God’s time. I so loved the journey on creating this painting, God smiled and love grew in my heart and on my canvas. @lajollaartgallery @miradafineart   h

Mo had said..."As if something were left between the pages every time you read it. Feelings, thoughts, sounds, smells...and then, when you look at the book again many years later, you find yourself there, too, a slightly younger self, slightly different, as if the book had preserved you like a pressed flower...both strange and familiar.”  Cornelia Funke    Flower and books... pressing the memories forever.  I remember doing it as a young child several times.   I love finding pressed roses in older family Bibles.
