For those of us who like control in life, this is hard to swallow. While we try continually to grasp and deal with the world around us, we eventually find we truly are helpless. What seems to be easy for us to observe as actions needing to be done, cannot always be done. Something or someone stands in the way. In Romans 7:18 Paul writes:  "I can will what is right, but I cannot do it." Paul's journey was fraught with trials and bad events every place he visited. Usually by now I have more accomplished and off to Galleries but with the Artist of Texas show and all our family things this fall, I am behind.  It is good for you though to pick up some small pieces at good prices.  I am going to continue doing horses but want to work larger again. The small ones lack the loose freedom I have with the palette knife.   I painted this afternoon and finished two more small ones you will see over the next few days.
