Usually it means I am not leaving the house, but I will try to make it out to a brunch for my youngest brothers birthday. As he is 11 years younger than I am, I love seeing him grow older! I painted myself out last night...actually yesterday, painting 13 straight hours with out food and not leaving the studio except to let the dogs out. It was cold outside yesterday and cloudy until late...so I cranked the music and worked with palettes I do not normally work with. You will see some of those paintings this week on the blog. The Koi were done three days ago and are full of light and color; it is painted with a palette knife! THICK PAINT. Seems like three is the number this week...I am doing a lot in threes.
