When the sun rises... the first light of day has not broken through the deep mist of night and the quiet tones across the landscape.  When it does make that push upward and light fills in between the leaves, grass, gardens etc... the earth is alive with color!  Same with these horses I entitled Color Rising. Layers of color and overlays create this entire painting, keeping part of the realism and losing to abstract shapes throughout the horses. The Painted Pony Pulls! Should I paint more of them?
