But wiping the surface clean doesn't really make anything any neater. It just masks what is below. It's only when you really dig down deep, go underground, that you can see who you really are.” Sarah Dessen This is the way we wash our clothes, wash our clothes, wash our clothes...every Monday morning.  Deep-cleaning comes with the seasons.  Our grandmothers did not work outside the home often,  but they kept a calendar for everything.  Twice a year, wash those windows. That is usually late Sept

We carry all the power we need inside ourselves already.”  JK Rowling Imagine a World Where . . . Slowly the figure began to disappear.  What was in mind was a larger version of a painting from four years ago... a small 12 x 12.  When I was approached for a print of the 12 x 12 LARGE... I knew it could not be done, but I also knew I had the color needed on Juxtapose and it was time for a transformation.   Can you even imagine a world where your feelings and mindset did not control your behaviors? G. Jung So this painting is no longer.  It was transformed and you will see the process over the next few days.   A reason . . . A purpose . . . and A need.  Sometimes you finish a painting and you love it. It is part of you and the creative process on Juxtapose was a tremendous growth for this artist. For a dreamer is one who can only find his way by moonlight, and his punishment is that he sees the dawn before the rest of the world.” Oscar Wilde, The Critic as Artist My double life as web designer and artist seem to be stretched to the limit right now.  I love doing both but my journaling always seems to take too much time.  Are you stretched to the limit? I am. So I know I am not wanding by moonlight... I am usually sleeping.   This week has had it's challenges with things arising almost every morning. Monday we miss

When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life.”  John Lennon Remember the simple days?  Remember when school was a place you loved to go to learn and see your friends?  Your teacher was kind and knowledgeable  and life seemed simple? Well, I feel that way about products in our lives.  School has become a marathon and the amount of dangerous cleaning products fill t
