Single White Stallion 8 x 10 x 2 inches Oil on Gallery Wrap Canvas A Painting a Day SOLD Wednesday, Work Day. Did you ever notice that? Although I believe I work 24 - 7. This painting is a small one with the colors of my larger white stallions that I painted, I think they were called Spirit of Truth. I wanted to do a small one with the restful palette. I have been up battling the new printer. We were printing nicely last night and the power went off for four hours...everywhere in town. Even the grocery store had to close. All gas stations were closed...it literally shuts everything down. Terry and I covered ourselves with Chemicals to protect from Mosquitoes and then walked the dogs. When we returned we sat out on our back porch and Terry worked on sanding a model he is working on and I play my harp and then my guitar and sang. Needless to say, my fingertips are a tad sore this morning. I had not played my guitar much since March. We both showered early and climbed into a rathe...
TEXAS MISSION TWO 22 x 28 inches Oil on Canvas A Painting a Day Click here to bid. Aching muscles. Should not have worked in the flower bed yesterday. UGH. BUT I will paint... well maybe. Might sit to paint. This is my second Mission painting for Texas. I thought I had posted it already but did not see it when I looked back...if I did, enjoy it a second time! Gorgeous violets, blues contrasting with yellow and creams... My cousin left today to return to Boise Idaho. I don't think he liked the Texas weather and our bugs. He wanted to return to his mountains. Today I will be cleaning up the aftermath of a guest in the house, but remembering some of the fun moments of the visit. My cousin was deep into astrology and the planets controlling his life. I listened patiently as he often spoke of the planets controlling his future and his past and how different planets pass into different houses in his layout of life. For me it is easier! My Father created this world and it is His p...
MORNING HAZE ON THE HORIZON ~ Horses 18 x 36 inches Oil on Canvas A Painting A Day SOLD It is late on Saturday Afternoon. Just got Morgan off and heading home after we all enjoyed prime rib, new potatoes mashed, organically grown corn, and a fresh salad...all organic. We are pretty strict on that! Terry, Morgan and I took Paddy, our male Kerry Blue Terrier to the FT WORTH Dog Show today to see if he is show quality...which we found in disappointment he is not. He will be 'Fixed" in May....he definitely wigged out around all the dogs, but the handler was ABSOLUTELY great with him. We were more than impressed. I felt like a mom taking my child to school the first day and they sent him home! Painting this morning I started two different horses, but this one I posted I finished last week...one of my colorful horses on the horizon. I love these colors....that is why the name for the painting! It would hang nicely in our room. Have to close quickly...gotta clean the kitchen an...
