Sometimes I get into this thing that I want to paint stuff like everyone else paints.  It is on those days the brushes groan as I take them in hand, the music changes in the studio and I work on staying loose on a 6 x 6 inch panel with a YIKES ...Tiny Brush. The Thought : Last year at this time I began to pray for simple abundance.  It was a campaign mantra to the Lord that I prayed day and night.  Believing that He will provide exactly what you need, you will find yourself in a surplus situation.  Yesterday in my email a good friend from Detroit forwarded this: "On this day of your life

We had storms last night and I guess it disrupted the sleep pattern a bit. The dogs are restless. I put them out and of course the grass is wet so they have to do their business right outside the door. When daylight hits I will be out there scrubbing the patio. Terry is sleeping. He seems really tired for some reason. I do not think he feels well. We are both pretty worn out from life the past two weeks. My show in Marble Falls has crept up suddenly. I still have not made room reservations and will do that today. I need to get all the paintings ready to travel as well. We will not be gone long though, Terry is only going to take two days off from work for the trip. Stacey felt life this weekend with her pregnancy. It is so much fun to watch her experience these changes in her body. The best is yet to come. Go

I was not expecting them and it is so fun to get unexpected surprises in the mail. I finished the book that Carol and I have been working on. The name of the show in Jackson is CROSSING PATHS. Carol and I have an ad coming out for the August issue of American Art Collectors. I also ran a half page ad for July too! It is below: My thoughts today run to not only forgiving people in your life that YOU think did a wrong thing to you or
A Pair of Cows Farm Animal Oil Painting by Laurie Justus Pace 18 x 27 inches of Thick Oil Paint. Contact me for information: Laurie We completed our Medications class and only have one more class to renew for our Foster License. We saw some of the couples last night that were in our classes a year ago, also renewing their license with updating classes. She had given birth to a baby 8 months ago and had her little one with her. I am thinking they had three other children at home and they are doing fostering. She laughed and said they were licensed 5 weeks ago and they were called with in hours to take a brand new infant from the hospital. SO she has a new baby at home along with her four! THAT is not what we will do! We will offer respite care to foster homes that need it as well as foster adopt a teenager. God is in control on this one and you better believe Terry and I are walking on the water with Jesus with this one! There are moments of pure panic, WHAT ARE WE DOING??? The
