'Arabian White' 5 x 7 inches Oil on Panel Contact me to purchase: Laurie   © Laurie Pace    Graphics One Design 2009 The Painting :  Silky oil on Panel... delicate color palette to portray this Arabian beauty.  Holbein Duo Oils. The Thought :  This morning I had an adrenalin rush when Terry came into the bedroom as I was stretching awake and he said, "I will always be here to protect you from bad things."  Immediately my brain jumped into high gear thinking in a panic mode...what happened for him to say this to me? ARABIAN BEAUTY 24 x 30 inches Oil on Canvas A Painting a Day Wednesday....I should be in Dallas this morning with my mom...more tests, but she really wanted to do this one alone. I believe my sister-in-law is going to taxi her back and forth. SO, I will paint paint paint. Have corresponded with several collectors about my trips this summer and the shows. I know in August Terry and I will hit the road and go west! Not sure what will happen with a painting a day, but will do my best. Might be in acrylic over that time period...but everyone needs a vacation don't they? This beauty was painted this weekend. She is based on a burnt orange background, truly Southwest Colors of Summer. Fun with a bit of impressionism and love! Hope your day goes well. ARABIAN IN BLUE 30 x 30 inches Oil on Canvas A Painting A Day Painted on Thursday! Well, Back to work today. I am working on my book for the New York show as we speak. I took a break to do my blog! This is a white Arabian that I painted when Trina was here painting with me on Thursday. The colors reflected the depth of my mood that day as I am searching for changes still and not finding them...but after yesterday and our anniversary I have a slight nod of direction and we will see what passes through the next few months. Nothing happens over night. I think it was our deep conversations, but the Italian Margarita from Olive Garden did not hurt. We also watched a great movie last night...THE GUARDIAN.... highly recommend it for the charged emotional depth of the message. It was so encouraging again to see my red dahlia inspiring another artist to immediately paint a red dahlia...paint on and enjoy the Lord's glory...there is enough for all of us. The objective of being in the s...
