Created in the tradition of my   Painted Pony Pulls , this was the last large piece I painted for Mirada Fine Art’s special exhibition in   February 2023 . Below, you’ll find the full painting. The palette knife has always been where my heart lies as an artist. There’s something mesmerizing about working with rich, buttery Holbein oils—mixing, carving, and layering them into   ¼- to ½-inch deep pulls   down the canvas.
