That was literally wishful thinking. I found two roses, one yellow one from our Orphan Rose that belonged to Terry's mom, and one red one from my JFK rose bush. Psalm 5:3 Have you spent some time yet this morning talking to the Lord? I have always felt morning to be a good time to speak from my heart undisturbed to Him. No phones ringing, no little people tugging at me; nothing to interrupt the flow of prayer and thoughts exchanged with Him. This early morning time is a beginning of the day and the beginning of my waking hours. By spending this time with Him early, it reinforces my direction for the day and places me in the place I need to be, listening. Too often I am always in prayer requesting, asking, searching, probing, pleading and tearfully in despair.
