As you mature and grow into adulthood, a few of those paths are laid out after you make certain decisions about getting married, or having a baby.  As you sink into full responsible adult life, it calls upon you to make decisions and choices daily. Santa Fe Afternoon Shower 24 x 30 inches Oil on Canvas A Painting A Day It is going to be a rainy day today...and varnishing will have to wait.....we are expecting storms today....so I won't paint much today either. This painting is a fascinating use of color and balance. It is for the contemporary art buyer for sure! Niki phoned from Virginia where all the Noreaster hit...she was on generator power until the generator broke. She just phoned from her cell phone this morning. It is 50 degrees and dropping in her home and she is hanging on. The generator folks were there last night and could not fix it, coming back today...but that is after a TOW truck had to get them out of the area last night. I will remind myself that a little hail and wind is nothing to cold and wet and wind with no power. At least we have a fireplace and can build a fire. Prayers are that way not just for her but for everyone and on top of that for the families of the victims of the shooting. Sometimes our
