It is within this balance that my expression is widening, becoming something more than it was before. Several years ago, I created a painting called Celebrating Night to Day, inspired by the transition of sunrise. Painted on birch using a softer acrylic approach, it marked a shift from my usual palette knife work into a more fluid, layered process.
