The nearest crossing to us was only two blocks away.  I knew I would not go back to sleep, so I gently pulled back the sheet and quietly tiptoed to the door. The dogs were asleep as I quietly walked by... thankfully the studio was on the other side of the house. I left Terry sleeping soundly. Little did I know that I was about to paint one of my lifelong favorites. It was only there a short time before it went to a collector in Canada.
