My Dad died in his eighties. He never tired of my playing the piano, and if it was hymns, he was singing along.  I remember my Grandmother would come in and sit in our formal living room, where the piano lived... and she would knit or sew while I practiced each evening. Made me feel special.  That was about 11 years ago we lost Dad.  In 11 more years, I will be his age when he passed. Sobering thought.  Seems like daily something hits me in that manner to make me realize I want to live this last part of my life in a good place mentally.  Stress is a killer... and we are good about stressing ourselves out, and anxiety grows and blood pressure pumps up and depression sinks in. My own granddaughter was a tiny baby at this time.  This princess lived in a nearby town in a castle with her family. Notice her ONE SINGLE RED ROSE.  I treasure fun small paintings like this.  I hope to embark on new color in the studio in the next month. The older you become, the more you realize it is the small special things in life that stick with you in your memories.  When you are in prayer with the Lord, remember he places multitudes of small simple things in your life all throughout your days.  What have you found or noticed?
