What a fun piece this was to paint! Marriage is not for the faint of heart.  Marriage is work and marriage is commitment.  In the Bible Jesus speaks of a house built on sand and shaken by storms, while another house built on rocks, remained unmoved through the storms. Weddings in the family are always a joyous event.   We just  celebrated Morgan's marriage to Kelly the end of May and now it is time to celebrate this union. Tomorrow on the Fourth of July, it is the one year anniversary for Justin and his beautiful bride Tara.   Marriage is not always easy.  I shudder remembering back to early days of adjustments. Still today I get disgruntled when the toilet paper is put on with the flap of paper going under instead of over.  Simple stupid things. Yet deeper are the chords that tie us together. The experiences and growth that have formed us as a couple.
