We are in the season of Lent... in preparation for Easter and Christ's Resurrection. The Thought: I do not know why I did not paint more in this series. I think I did three pieces. This seems to be the only one I can still find on disk. It was done well before the Mel Gibson Version of the Passion of the Christ. The pain depicted in the painting was even too much for the person I painted it for. They said it physically hurt to view it, but you know, maybe it should.
