We ran to Whole Foods and picked up groceries and lunch to bring home. I would rather grab food (Although not whole foods plant based) there and bring it home.  I did eat a huge homemade salad before eating what I brought home. I ate mostly a pasta salad but it had olives which I do not keep in the house... a one time pleasure for sure. Also some rice but I had to have a few bites of Mac and Cheese...the stress reliever of all, and some Mashbos... not healthy made. I rarely go off diet but the stress has been back the last two days as decisions have been made over...

I really like this one as it was and kept a good image of it. Hubby grows many flowers through out our backyard and the front yard.  He works to keep them watered in the summer heat here in north Texas.  I go out and cut my roses and keep a vase filled in the kitchen.  Our thoughts and prayers right now still remain with the families, the rescue and search teams in Hill Country of Texas.   The broken hearts left behind will be challenged by pain and loss for years to come. Having experienced that recently, almost one year into it, I have learned to lean steadily on our Lord. I posted this painting today in hope and prayers for all those affected by the massive flood in our state in Hill Country which is Austin and San Antonio to the west. Heavy rains, floods, and tears fell through out this area yesterday and still today.  Rain was in the forecast but not in the amounts that arrived. The system originated from moisture coming up from western Mexico moving from an air disturbance in a circular motion. When the rain hit... it circled. The rain literally kept falling. People camping near Kerrville, Texas and the river were hit with over 10 inches of rain and a 20ft surge of water down the river and through the land area. I have painted this weekend on the portrait I was working on but may have to play with color shortly!   My grandson follows Emily Frisella on Instagram and he shared it with me this morning.  I truly enjoyed her posted list for her birthday this year. The most prominent thing is I am not doing weight resistance and I need to start doing that slowly. I walk 3 miles most mornings in 45 min or less. As you know we eat a whole foods plant based diet and there are MANY athletes out there eating this way. 15 years into it now. It is time my friends.
