Toni Morrison, Beloved I never had a sister.  I have some truly good friends that seem to fill that void in life. I grew up with two brothers, one four years older and one 11 years younger. I felt he was more like my child than my brother. Sisters are forever. They love you unconditionally and often know what may come out of your mouth before you say it. That is how JJ was to me when I met her in seventh grade.  We are still friends

All the medicine in the world cannot heal someone if their heart does not want to heal. Loneliness takes the life of many people every day.. day by day, little by little, part of the mind and body pull further away from the world in their personal journey.  Sharing time with those you love is primary. At this time of year you can often just look around and visible see those little Angels. These two caught my eye and I took a series of images as their faces changed with the cold wind blowing them about on the float they were in for the Mount Vernon Christmas Parade. They were at God'

He was up and down all night coughing, wheezing etc.  He has had a sore throat and I got meds from Northlake Health Food Store for that... but now the chest is involved. I started him on Mucenix ( I think I spelled that wrong) this morning at 5 am.   SOOO... not much in my head today, my eyes keep nodding off if I sit longer than 10 minutes. I am in prayer for the those in Haiti.  That includes all the support and relief groups dedicating their time and concern as well as those that have been on ground zero where the earthquake occurred.  The world seems so much smaller
Curb Sitters Contemporary Art Children Oil Painting by Laurie Justus Pace 6 x 6 Oil on Panel Contact me to purchase: Laurie " The Lord Jesus Christ gave us the definition of a true friend: "Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. You are my friends if you do what I command. I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master's business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you. " John 15:13-15 Best friends. Do you have a best friend? During different phases of your life, people seem to drift in and out of your journey. God has placed them there for different reasons, to accomplish for them and for you a connection which becomes part of your life story. We all have those "best friends" from elementary school, and maybe even different ones from high school. Most certainly you had different friends after you left home and maybe marr
