Is it commitment issues? Are they worried that God will expect more of them than they can give? Roses and flowers He created for our joy. God does ask for obedience. Why? Obedience actually frees you from responsibilities to enjoy His blessings. His blessings include peace, joy, and a fulfilled life. His blessings are seen in the world around us in His creative powers and in those that follow Him. He does not always answer those desperate last minute pleas when you need something fixed.  He does more than rigging short term fixes.  He wants to 'grow you' into His grace and love so that you can find His simple abundance.

There are quite a few hours yet to be to travel with this one and I will wait patiently as I paint. I am in waiting for that inner feeling that my job is complete and the painting has reached the point of 'finish'. We all seem to do a lot of 'waiting' in life. Often we are waiting on others instead of concentrating on waiting on God. Wai

Today he had me doing Jack LaLanne exercises that all the house wives did in the fifties, including his mother. Somehow my mother missed that show. I remember Queen for the day, but not watching Jack very often. ANY way, he has me sitting in one of the kitchen chairs, holding on to the chair and keep my feet elevated and bringing my knees up to my chest. I can tolerate about six of these at a time. Terry just left for work and I walked him out to the truck. I have not seen the stars this bright since we lived out in the country, and the Moon, it is full and bright enough to look like the sun in the night sky. I heard the words of a song I have heard a thousand times and something clicked in my head.
